What if Edward had taken the Volturi's offer whe he had the chance?
What if the Cullens stayed in Volterra and never returned to Forks?
What if Bella ended up with Jacob and forgot all about Edward?
It's been three months since Edward abandoned Bella, and Jacob was there to put her back together. Edward took Aro's offer and joined the Volturi. With this event taking place, the Cullens came back to Forks, fearful that the Volturi may come after Bella and have sworn to protect her.
But there is a new clan of vampires in the small town of Forks: the Harth clan. The Cullens are a bit weary of the Harths, wanting to know what they're doing here, why they came to Forks, if they're friend or foe. And with the fear of a Volturi attack, the Cullens are debating on trusting these new vampires, or chasing them from Forks.
But where is Victoria in this whole mess? Well she's still hunting Bella. Still swearing to destory Bella for Edward killing James, she still hunts Bella. Waiting, watching, preparing for the perfect moment to strike.
Will these new vampires pose a threat to the Wolves? It hasn't been clear yet to the Wolves if these new Pale Faces can be trusted or not.
Another unanswered question is how long will the Volturi allow Bella to live as a human when she knows the secret of vampires exist?
